On March 7-8, 2008, the Ohio River Festival of Books will once again celebrate the literary accomplishments of authors from Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky. This will be our fourth festival following successful events in 2002, 2004 and 2006. Previous
festivals attracted more than 100 authors and more than 2,000 people from the Tri-State area and beyond. We are expecting the 2008 festival to be just as popular.

ORFOB is coinciding with the WSAZ Home and Garden Show at the Big Sandy
Superstore Arena. This event attracts thousands of visitors to downtown Huntington so we believe it will make for an even more successful Festival of Books.

The festival committee has planned a number of programs with authors with both regional and national appeal. In addition to programs, we will have an exhibit area for
vendors to sell books signed by authors.

We are also inviting authors who are not conducting programs to attend, sign, and sell their own books.
